Bangkok, Thailand - Double A received one gold Lotus award and two silver for its music VDO “Obsession for Smoothness” from Adfest2018 which take place at PEACH, Royal Cliff Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand on 21 to 24 March 2018.
Double A in collaboration with OK GO received Gold Lotus Award for Internet Film. AdFest 2018 recognized the creative and inspiring music VDO “Obsession for Smoothness” by awarding Double A with Gold Lotus for Internet Film, Silver Lotus for film Craft – Special Effects and Silver for Interactive – Viral VDO.
The music VDO was a 4 party collaboration between Double A, alternative rock band OK GO, Spa Hokuhodo and the creative agency SIX Inc. The creation was the world’s first Paper Mapping technique which utilized stop-motion imagery, precise creative choreography and 567 printers printing color, black and white prints; the effect was an eye catching creation of “Obsession for Smoothness” music VDO.
